In addition to storage units and moving trucks, we offer several items and services that will make your storage or moving experience easier.

Boxes
We have 4 sizes of boxes available - small, medium, large, and extra large.  They range in price from $1.30 to $2.75.  These boxes are great for storage and for moving.  Using the same size box will conserve storage space and allow for easier stacking.  These boxes are also printed on the sides with spaces for you to fill in the contents of each box, along with what room in your house the contents belong in.

Tape and Tape Dispensers
We offer rolls of tape and tape dispensers for sealing your boxes.  Tape rolls are $1.00 each, and tape dispensers, which include one roll of tape are $5.00 each.

Locks
We offer two styles of disc (round) padlocks to lock your storage unit. These locks are much more difficult to cut or break than the standard padlock and offer maximum protection of your belongings.  Locks range from $12.00 to $15.00 each.

Storage Containers
We have plastic storage containers available for rent for you to store your belongings in.  These containers are sturdier than boxes and provide the ease of opening and closing with out un-taping and re-taping.  Storage containers are $1.00 each per month.

Moving Pads
We have moving pads available for rent to protect your furniture from scratches while moving.  These pads will help prevent damage if something bumps up against your furniture during the moving process.  Moving pads can be rented for $1.00 each with truck rental.

Dolly
We offer dolly rental for use with our moving truck.  Using a dolly makes it much easier to move large items such as furniture and appliances.  It also lessens the time required to load and unload, as you can easily move several boxes at once instead of one at a time.  Dolly rental is $10.00 with truck rental.

Clothing Bar
We have a clothing bar available, which is placed across the back end of the moving truck.  Just hang your clothes on the bar, and you won't have to worry about wrinkled clothing or other items rubbing up against the clothing and getting it dirty.  Rental of the clothing bar is $5.00.

Stor For Less Storage & Truck Rental is a family owned modern full service storage facility offering free use of a moving truck to those that rent at our facility.  We are centrally located between Porter, Chesterton, Burns Harbor, Portage, Valparaiso, Lake Station, Hobart, and Miller.  We are only 1/4 mile from US Highway 20, 1/2 mile from 80/94, 3 miles from US Highway 6, and right in the middle of US Highways 49 and 149.  Our 7.8 acre facility is completely fenced and lighted, and we have a groundskeeper right in the center of the property.  We still have 3.5 acres of buildable ground and can build a storage warehouse to meet your exact needs and specifications.
